A list of the E320's repairs and upgrades:
Engine compartment:
- Put LF turn signal lamp and socket back in its hole in headlight assy.
- Cleaned oil out of transmission control module (TCM).
- Replacement transmission control module (TCM).
Body:
- Replaced conductor plate and connector in Transmission; new
transmission oil and filter.
Cabin:
Still broken:
- No spare tire
- Warnings: Low-coolant, Phone system inoperative
- Right low beam headlight burned out
- Fogged right-hand headlight lenses
- Scuffed front bumper. A crack or two.
- Bashed in left rear quarter panel.
- Interior partially disassembled
- Interior filthy
- Vanity mirror light covers broken
- Glove box locking handle missing ($12)
Expenses:
Time is in hours, and cost should be obvious. I'll use U-Pull prices
for used parts that I've already got; it's where most of 'em came
from anyway! Fiddly small stuff like clips and screws are no charge
at the U-Pull, if you're buying other bigger stuff anyway. Some of
the times may seem inflated, miscellaneous diagnostic time sometimes
gets tacked onto something else done in that session. The intent is
that the total time spent on the car comes out reasonably
accurately, not necessarily that the time shown for any given job is
exact. (Even so the total is probably still under-reported.) Time
spent keeping this log, not insignificant, is also not included.
